Wax has quickly grown to be the favorite way to consume cannabis by many.

And, while it does have its upsides (cleaner, more intense high), it has one pretty big downside.

You need a dab rig if you want to smoke it.

Glass isn’t cheap, but you should be able to get high without breaking the bank.

Thankfully, online headshops have driven down the prices on glass to where we can get some damn good glass, even if we can’t scrounge up more than a Benjamin for a new rig.

It comes with what's probably the best banger out of any of the rigs on this list.

It’s thicker than a lot you’ll come across, so it takes a little longer to heat up.

The banger retains heat well thanks to its thickness, so you’re able to keep it warm long enough to take monster dabs.

It’s a small rig—only stands 5” tall, but it hits hard.

And it’s diffused downstem creates a smooth smoke.

The glass is a high-quality borosilicate glass that gives the impression that it could take a beating.

Buying cheap dab rigs online can be a little scary, but you don't have to worry about being burned by this beauty.

This is a little piece from a less known glass company.

It’s blown out of high-quality borosilicate glass by Grace Glass.

If you get to hit this rig, you’ll immediately notice how smooth it is thanks to the fixed downstem with a slitted diffuser.

I wish this rig came with a better dab nail, but the glass nail and vapor dome do the job fine.

With the unique design, you never have to worry about getting any water splashed into your mouth.

The piece is pretty tall (6.3 inches) and pretty thick too (4mm).

After you upgrade the nail on this rig, you’ll have yourself an excellent rig.

Diamond uses American made glass. You can tell the quality when you hold one of their pieces.

The straight neck makes it easy to rip, and thanks to the showerhead perc you don’t have to worry about coughing up a lung after each one.

This rig is huge—8.5” tall.

It’s 14mm male joint is a common size, so you have a wide variety of nails you can upgrade to.

The glass nail and dome you get with this rig are decent but easily replaceable.

I just love love love the way this piece of functional glass art looks.

Its beautiful donut loop design is sure to impress anybody.

And it’s huge inline percolator makes a huge difference in the way your wax goes down.

Black Sheep is a Cali glassblowing company that’s putting out some quality work.

This donut rig is 8” tall with a 14mm male joint.

It also comes with a pretty decent nail.

It’s a domeless quartz nail that retains heat well and creates a nice draw.

Seeing as I’m from Austin, Texas, you know there’s no way we could make this list and not have Grav Labs on it.

May I present to you their Circuit Dab Rig.

It’s a 7” piece that just flat rips.

The rig has this double turbine perc that's just insane!

It creates these little water tornadoes of smoke that are incredibly smooth on the lungs.

Its weird shape prevents you from ever having to worry about splashback—even if you put in too much bong water.

It’s 14mm joint comes with a domeless quartz nail, which I think is only second to a quartz banger.

Now, this might not be your idea of an excellent dab rig, but I love it!

It’s made from silicone for those of us that want to be able to take a dab rig on the go, or just invest in a piece that will almost never break.

The double-tier percolator even hits pretty nice, but it’s another rig that skimps us on the nail.

Conclusion

You can get a pretty damn good cheap dab rig—that completely rips—for next to nothing.

What's great about dab rigs is you can always dramatically upgrade it by investing in the nail.

But a lot of the best dab rigs under $100 hit with the best of them out of the box.

A lot of high-quality and well-known brands make small pieces in this price range that flat hit hard.
