You know your body best, so you’ll know when it will be a good idea to smoke and when it will be a good idea to hold off on it.

Smoking first thing in the morning can be a great way to start off your day.

However, you don’t want to overdo it!

If you’ve been smoking for any length of time, I’m sure you’ve heard the term.

Heck, we stoners have an entire day—a stoner holiday if you will—dedicated to it!

How did it find it’s way ingrained it our culture, though?

For years, I believed what every other stoner said it was “It’s a police code for smoking weed or something...”

The term comes from a group of 5 friends—known as the Waldos—that used the time 4:20 pm to meet up after school to go in search of a coast guard secret herb garden in the woods.

They never did find the weed, but somehow the term caught fire in cannabis culture and never looked back.

The Best Time to Smoke all Depends on What You’re Trying to Get Out of it!

Smoking just to smoke can get you in trouble.

If you smoke the wrong strain before work, your 2 pm crash could come closer to 9 am.

And unless you have nap booths at work, your day is going to suck.
